South Shields FC fans are being urged they must respect guidelines as their new season begins

Around 600 spectators are able to attend the fixture against Derbyshire side Mickleover at 1st Cloud Arena on Saturday, September 19 at 3pm.
It comes after local coronavirus restrictions placed on South Tyneside on Friday aimed at tackling a rise in cases in the borough.

Hide AdRespect social distancing and remain within their bubble; Wear a mask wherever possible – essential for those planning to sing or shout; Table service only for those planning to drink – standing with drinks is not allowed; Take note of the markings around the pitch and within the stands – do not stand in a crossed area; Maintain good hygiene and use the sanitising stations wherever possible.
No tickets are available to buy at the turnstiles. It is season ticket holders and match ticket holders only.
A club statement said: “Following these guidelines is essential to ensure we can continue to host games during this difficult period. It's up to us all to prove we can do it.
“Please do your bit to help the club out. We massively appreciate the understanding, patience and support we are being shown.

“Please familiarise yourself with it and do everything you can to help us this afternoon.”
Supporters who haven't yet collected their season tickets should go to the hospitality entrance, next to turnstiles 1 and 2.
