Finally! After months of waiting, the children of South Tyneside are getting to go back to school.

The easing of pandemic restrictions means school pupils get to go back to the classroom and see much-missed friends in person once again – not to mention their favourite teachers.

But we want to know who your favourite teacher was in years gone by. Was it one of the teachers featured in this photo spread?
