

Collect your cuppa memories as we brew up recollections of tasty tea pictures in South Tyneside
Is there anything better than a refreshing cuppa?
These people certainly think it’s the best way to spend the day and we found them all in photos in the Shields Gazette archives.
It’s a great time to be looking back on tea scenes as the UK welcomes Brew Monday next week.
The Samaritans hosts the national event on the day which is usually known as ‘Blue Monday’ but it is putting a positive twist on the day by encouraging people to connect over a warming virtual cuppa.
In the meantime, why not enjoy some warming memories from the past with these South Tyneside scenes.
