A selection of nostalgic South Tyneside scenes for you to enjoy - but from which year?

Which year were all these pictures taken in? They were all captured in South Tyneside and all in the same year.

But can you guess the year just by studying the photos in this just-for-fun challenge?

We have retirement scenes, sport scenes, reminders of a charity dip and one absolute giveaway at the end of the photo selection.

So take a look and see whether you can guess the year before we give you the answer at the end.

And once you’ve finished this challenge, why not try this one we post earlier.
