Eight pictures from the past of South Tyneside pub the Lord Nelson as it reopens after refurbishment

A pub has re-opened – and that gives us a chance to dig out some great pictures from its past.

We are talking about the Lord Nelson and we certainly have plenty of archive images for you to enjoy.

There are flashbacks to 2014 when the pub won an award and to lots of reminders of its annual leek, vegetable and floral show.
