All these South Tyneside people said cheese when we asked them to pose for a photo in years gone by.

And here they are again in a reminder of tasty pictures to celebrate World Sandwich Day.

The big day is on November 3. In the meantime, we’ve got sandwich scenes from St Wilfrid’s School, Franchis restaurant, Tyne Dock and a spread of local shops.
