Nine pictures of party times in South Tyneside - from World Cup celebrations to garden parties

Let’s have a party! We are stepping back in time to these scenes of South Tyneside children having loads of fun.

There were all sorts of reasons for them celebrating.

Some were celebrating the World Cup, others were having fun as they held a reading party and others dressed as princesses for their party.

A summer party is also among our retro scenes.

The question is, were you among them? The only way to find out is to take a look at our picture selection and find out more.
