Can you believe it! Eight years have passed since we saw the Olympic torch being carried through the streets of South Tyneside.
This week is the 8th anniversary of the torch passing through the area.
It was the start of an amazing summer of sport and local people got to play a part in it.
Did you go to see the torch or perhaps you were one of the people who had the honour of carrying it.
What are your memories of the day? Get in touch and tell us more.
