It was the moment that Gordon Banks dived to keep out a Pele header at the 1970 World Cup.
It was a truly remarkable moment and one which all football fans of a certain age will remember.
Today we are paying tribute to the Sunderland keepers who have graced us with remarkable saves of their own over the years.
How many of these occasions do you remember?

Less than three years after Gordon Banks' save, Jimmy Montgomery came up with a moment of magic for Sunderland with his wonder double save against Leeds in the 1973 FA Cup Final. Were you there to see it? Photo: YPN
2. Action from the FA Cup semi final
On April 7, 1973, Sunderland took on Arsenal in the FA Cup semi final and the game saw a save from Jimmy Montgomery which was arguably as good as his wonder stop in the final.
He had to re-direct himself after an Armstrong shot was deflected by a Sunderland defender, yet Monty got down to keep the ball out. Remember it? Photo: SE
