Former MoD buildings could be demolished under proposals to knock down the graffiti-hit site.

The Shields Gazette this week revealed plans to bulldoze the disused army camp is located on the outskirts of East Boldon.

New plans submitted to South Tyneside Council’s planning department aim to demolish the smaller structures at the north of the site.
