Remember the days when your little ones could get to school together in the walking bus?

We have some great reminders of walking buses all over South Tyneside and they come from the Mail archives.

There are scenes from Hadrian Primary, Oakleigh Gardens, St Oswald’s, and Boldon.

And we even have a reminder of the day one school tried to set a walking bus world record.
