Citroen has announced pricing and specification for its new C-Series trim level aimed directly at online buyers.
The new trim is available on three of the brand’s best-selling products - the C3 hatchback, C3 Aircross compact SUV and the C5 Aircross SUV - as part of a new “fair pricing” strategy that simplifies its price structure.
The new line is intended for customers using the fully online Citroen Store buying process but can also be ordered from Citroen dealerships. Online buyers benefit from an extended five-year warranty compared with the standard three-year offer.
The range starts at £13,980 for the C3 C-Series powered by an 82bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine. Metallic “Soft Sand” paint is standard, with a choice of four additional colours available at an extra cost. A contrasting black roof and mirror caps and anodised deep red highlights on the Airbumps and fog light surrounds complete the exterior look, along with 16-inch bi-tone wheels. Standard equipment includes LED headlights, privacy glass and a seven-inch touchscreen with smartphone integration.

In common with the C3 Aircross, the C3 hatch also features automatic headlights, automatic air conditioning, coffee break alert, lane departure warning, cruise control, speed sign recognition and recommendation, as well as rear parking sensors
The C3 Aircross starts at £17,000 and comes with a 109bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine with six-speed manual transmission. Standard paint is “Natural White” solid paint, with three metallic options priced at £520. C3 Aircross C-Series cars feature the same anodised deep red colour pack alongside 16-inch ‘Matrix’ alloy wheels. Inside, the models come with a Graphite Grey interior with white stitching, a soft-touch dashboard facia and satin chrome inserts. Owners also get a DAB radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.
The larger C5 Aircross C-Series starts from £25,755. Based on the existing Shine trim but at a lower price, the C5 Aircross C-Series features a 128bhp 1.2-litre petrol with six-speed manual gearbox, solid white paint, the anodised deep red colour pack, 18-inch alloys and tinted windows. Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, intelligent beam headlights, extended traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring, active safety brake, reversing camera, power folding door mirrors, keyless entry and start, as well as front and rear parking sensors. In-car entertainment provides Citroën Connect Nav with Connect Box Emergency and Assistance System, and three-years of TomTom Live traffic updates.
Customers using the Citroen Store can complete their entire purchase online, from configuring the model to arranging finance. The service also offers a virtual showroom where buyers can view a live walk-round of the model hosted by a Citroen sales representative.
