11 pictures as stunning Ignite Trail light installations illuminate the National Trust’s Gibside
The 18th Century Georgian gardens at the National Trust’s Gibside were lit up for the first time as families enjoyed a new after-dark experience.
The magic of the illuminated Ignite Trail begins when twilight falls, with fairies dancing in trees, fiery fish and woodland wildlife sculpted in willow among the enchanting landscapes filled with wonder.
Lights and lanterns twinkle across the 600 acres of woodland and countryside in Gateshead where families can wander between flickering flames between 11-30 December 2020.
