South Shields Surf School hosting social events for children aged 10-17
South Shields Surf School is hosting two ‘Surf and Social’ events for youngsters aged between 10 and 17.
The first session, which is for girls only, takes place on Tuesday, June 23 between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.
The second – for boys – will be held two days later on Thursday, June 25, also between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.
The aim is to show youngsters how much fun surfing can be, but the events will also give them a chance to meet new people and hopefully make friends.
There will also be a variety of games played on the beach.
The sessions will take place at the surf school on Sandhaven Beach Promenade, South Shields, NE33 3NG.
A spokesman said: “Join us for an evening of surfing, games, good vibes and good company.”
