See inside Platform 33 as former Marsden Rattler reopens after major refurbishment
We take a look inside the brand new establishment, formerly known as the Marsden Rattler on Sea Road, South Shields.
The railway carriage venue was taken over by the owners of popular Seaburn pub The Promenade in October 2019 and has undergone a complete revamp in the months since.
It now boasts an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, a carvery every day from 12pm-7pm and entertainment most evenings from 8pm until late.
Other new additions include call buttons in booths to request table service and pooch-friendly ‘pens’ for diners with dogs.
