South Shields tide times for this weekend

While social distancing measures remain in place, we are allowed unlimited amounts of exercise under new government guidelines.

In the last few days, people in South Shields have been searching tide times ahead of this weekend.

On Saturday, low tide is expected at 5:42am with a height of 2.17 metres.

High tide is then predicted at 11:46am with a height of 4.01 metres, before the next low tide period (1.59 metres) which should come around 6:35pm.

On Sunday, the high and low tide spells will come slightly later in the day, with the first low tide (2.04 metres) expected at 06:55am.

High tide (4.11 metres) will then arrive at 12:52pm before low tide (1.45 metres) at 7:35pm.

The public have also been told they should only mix with members from the same household while social distancing.
