Today’s trip down memory lane takes us to South Marine Park in South Shields.
The park is well known across the borough and further afield as a place for family days out.
Home to children’s play area, green spaces, train, boating lake and Minchella’s. The park is a great place to enjoy the outdoors.
Take a look at our gallery of photos in the park from 1950 up until the recent times to see what has happened in the park over the years.
