Crowds gathered in Jarrow on Friday, November 21, to watch the 2025 Christmas lights switch-on.
With South Tyneside’s Christmas programme getting underway just 24 hours before in South Shields, it was the turn of Jarrow to spread some festive cheer.
Cllr Jay Potts, the Mayor of South Tyneside, was on hand to switch on the lights, with Santa and The Grinch also making an appearance.
