South Shields' weekly Parkrun was turned into a tribute to tragic dad Mark Wood.

Many of the participants in the South Shields Parkrun wore black and white in memory of Mark Wood.

The keen runner died last weekend, at the age of 42, leaving family and friends devastated.

On Saturday morning, the 5k seafront run attracted twice as many people as usual, as the running community turned out in force to pay tribute to Mark.
