Friday evening (December 5) saw crowds gather in South Shields town centre as they caught a glimpse of the 2025 Winter Parade.
The theme for the popular event, which is delivered in partnership with South Tyneside Council and The Cultural Spring, was a celebration of the natural world.
The parade lit up the town centre as it headed along Ocean Road before finishing along South Shields seafront.
