20,000 people enjoy the sun as boy band The Vamps perform in South Shields
Families basked in the glorious sunshine at Bents Park in South Shields calling it a great day out for the family.
Shannon Pinner, 23, was there with her partner Jack Hogan, 24, and son Ollie Hogan, one.
She said: "We have come from Wallsend.
"It's a nice family day out."

Hide AdKerry Roberts, 40, had come from Jarrow to see The Vamps, along with partner Lee Workman, 51, and daughter Amelia Workman.
She said: "We come every year and the weather today is perfect."
Dawn Hardy, 38, was at the gig with daughter Lillie Hardy-Smith, two, Susan Hardy, 64, and nephew Daniel Hardy, nine.
She said: "We have come from West Jesmond to the event and South Shields is one of our favourite places as it has everything here.
"The weather is amazing.
"My nephew wanted to come and see The Vamps and it is his first concert."
