Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter has a number of animals that are looking for their forever home.
The shelter, which was established in 1896, helps animals that are unwanted, neglected, abused and abandoned - as well as reuniting lost animals with their owners and finding loving new homes for those who are no longer wanted.
Here are 21 cute animals who are in need of a home - you can find out more at: https://www.dogandcatshelter.com/.
Take a look and see if you can open your heart and home to a new four-legged friend!
21. Serena (French Bulldog)
Serena is a delightful and adorable girl! She’s a happy and confident lady who is a pleasure to be around, she’s lovely with everyone she meets. She can be a typical French Bulldog and has her stubborn, quirky ways so would benefit from an owner who has an understanding of the breed. Serena isn’t the type of girl who wants to go climbing mountains and hiking, more the local strolls and couch potato vibe! | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

22. Dexter
Dexter is a wonderful, handsome lad who was recently rehomed and has sadly been returned to the shelter through no fault of his own. He was described as a very affectionate lad in the home who constantly wants attention and loves to cuddle on your lap. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter
