The Dogs Trust has so many amazing dogs up for adoption with the hope of finding forever homes for all.
The Darlington rehoming centre has plenty of canines searching for a place to live and this is just a small selection of those on offer.
Here we have 21 cute pups in need of a home - you can find out more at: https://www.dogstrust.org.uk/.
Take a look and see if you can open your heart and home to a furry friend.

17. Bertie (Shih Tzu Cross)
Bertie is looking for patient, committed adopters who understand that building trust takes time. He will need an adult-only home with few visitors and a calm, predictable routine where he can continue his training and grow in confidence. His ideal home will be in a quiet location with access to peaceful walking areas away from busy roads and other dogs. | Dogs Trust Darlington

18. Khaleesi (Turkish Kangal Dog)
Khaleesi is on the lookout for her forever home. A family who are around majority of the day will be ideal. This will help with settling into a new environment and routine as well of course providing an abundance of companionship which she adores. Further training will be beneficial, including walking calmly on the lead and having a refresher with house training. | Dogs Trust Darlington

19. Tank (Mastiff Cross)
Tank loves spending time with people so would like for his family to be around majority of the day. Anytime required to be by himself can be introduced once settled. Cupboards and bins shouldn’t be easily accessible as Tank does find these too interesting to resist investigating. The home ideally will have a garden with no neighbouring dogs so he can enjoy off lead playtimes. | Dogs Trust Darlington

20. Barley (Samoyed Cross)
Barley is a lovely, clever boy looking for patient owners who will help him build confidence and settle into home life. He can be a little anxious at times, so he’d love a calm, adult-only home where things are fairly predictable. He enjoys training and having something to do, so he’d suit people who are happy to spend time building a bond with him. Barley can be a bit cheeky and may try to steal the odd item, but he’s a smart lad who already knows a “drop” and is keen to learn more. | Dogs Trust Darlington
