The Dogs Trust has so many amazing dogs up for adoption with the hope of finding forever homes for all.
The Darlington rehoming centre has plenty of canines searching for a place to live and this is just a small selection of those on offer.
Here we have 21 cute pups in need of a home - you can find out more at: https://www.dogstrust.org.uk/.
Take a look and see if you can open your heart and home to a furry friend.
13. Scruff (Cairn Terrier Cross)
Meet Scruff, an independent older chap ready to find his forever home. He’s a big fan of cheese which will be a great reward for continued training. He’s quite happy in his own company although, with a strong relationship in place he enjoys a good back ruffle. Walking routes that are peaceful without too many other dogs about will be ideal. | Dogs Trust Darlington
14. Harley (American Bully Classic Cross)
Harley is full of character and looking for a family who matches his enthusiasm. His new family will need to be up for putting training in place and having lots of laughs along the way. His love of food will be helpful for on-going training. The basic cues are there such as ‘sit’ and ‘down’ but settling into a new home environment with leaving hours and house training will need building on. | Dogs Trust Darlington
15. Blue (Staffordshire Bull Terrier)
Blue is looking for a child-free home with adopters who are committed to continuing her training and providing the management she needs to thrive. A secure garden is a must, giving her a safe space to stretch her legs, as she will need to remain on lead and wear her muzzle when out and about. | Dogs Trust Darlington
16. Lucy (American Staffordshire Terrier Cross)
Lucy is a bundle of energy and will be a fantastic dog to work with. Her future family will be up for plenty of fun, adventures and training. Including physical exercise, she’ll benefit from enrichment games that can really engage her mind. Having easy access to a garden will be ideal for her to burn off some energy and enjoy playtimes in the fresh air. | Dogs Trust Darlington
