The Dogs Trust has so many amazing dogs up for adoption with the hope of finding forever homes for all.
The Darlington rehoming centre has plenty of canines searching for a place to live and this is just a small selection of those on offer.

5. Marley (Staffordshire Bull Terrier)
Older gent Marley is a fan of the laid-back lifestyle as well as having moments of giddiness. He can’t wait to enjoy the home luxuries in a calm set up. Marley has previously been housetrained, and alone time can be introduced once he’s found his paws. Marley adores company but also enjoys his own space especially when tucking into a tasty treat. | Dogs Trust Darlington
6. Cookie (Crossbreed)
Cookie is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with patient adopters who will give her time to build trust. Her new family will need to meet her several times before adoption, allowing her time to get to know you. A secure garden is essential, as Cookie is still learning to feel comfortable wearing a collar, harness and lead. | Dogs Trust Darlington
7. Doris (Bulldog)
Doris is happy girl who will thrive with adopters who are fans of the breed. She can be very excited when it comes to making friends but also has a sensitive side when it comes to more formal handling. For this she’ll need to build up positive associations to feel more comfortable with it. | Dogs Trust Darlington
8. Elle (Lurcher)
Beautiful Elle is looking to join a family where she can have plenty of company. She absolutely adores spending time with and has yet to learn that it is ok to spend some alone time. This will be a gradual process of introducing her to this and building it up. A calmer home environment with secondary school aged kids would be best suited for Elle. | Dogs Trust Darlington
