5. Todd (Greyhound)
Ready to be welcomed into family life is Todd! Todd is looking for a family who’ll be around for most of the day while he settles into home life. He’ll need any alone time building up and house training started. Due to his size, he’d be best suited to a home with older primary school aged children. | Dogs Trust Darlington

6. Reggie (Maltese Cross)
On the lookout for a patient and caring family is Reggie. He’s building confidence around people and handling so will require gentle socialisation and time to adjust. A home with older teens, pet free and has few visitors is best suited to Reggie. Reggie will need some continued training and a bit of management in the home to help him feel more relaxed and settled. | Dogs Trust Darlington

7. Bear (Akita)
Bear is looking for a family who can give him plenty of company while he settles into home life. He will need help with housetraining and someone around for most of the time at first, so he can gradually learn to feel comfortable being left alone. Bear has enjoyed meeting another dog at the centre and may be able to live with a suitable canine companion, following a successful introduction. | Dogs Trust Darlington

8. Molly (Lurcher)
Molly is looking for a family who can offer plenty of company while she settles into home life. She could live with older primary school aged children and a suitable dog, following successful introductions. At just a year old, Molly will need help with housetraining, basic training and gradually learning to spend time alone. | Dogs Trust Darlington
