Police are appealing for information after a blue Yamaha XTR 125, 2008 was taken from a car park at Lear Corporation in Phoenix Way, Rainton Bridge.

The theft happened on Monday January 25 between 6pm and 8.10pm.

The vehicle registration plates had been ripped off the bike and discarded at the scene.

Officers are carrying out inquiries to trace the bike and are appealing for any witnesses.
