Barcelona consider shock £15m move for Newcastle's Ayoze Perez

The club has reportedly enquired about Perez's availability this summer.

And the 23-year-old is understood to be interested in a move to the Nou Camp.

Barcelona are looking to sign an understudy to attacking trio Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.

Perez was a target for the club two years ago before he joined Newcastle from Tenerife.

IBTimes UK report that Barcelona could land the Spain Under-21 international for a fee of £15million.

Perez spoke to the Gazette about his future earlier this month after reporting back for the start of pre-season training.

“I already said when the team went down that I would try to come back to the Premier League (with Newcastle),” said Perez.

“That’s it. I’m focused. I’m here."
