'Best stand up tour I've ever had' - Chris Ramsey thanks crowds as he returns to North East
Comedian Chris Ramsey has thanked fans as his tour takes a break before a huge homecoming show.
The South Shields-born star has completed his latest run of live shows, culminating at the Apollo in London.
Ramsey now has a couple of weeks away from the spotlight before returning in front of a home crowd.
He will perform a huge six show run at Newcastle’s City Hall this month.
The opening night of the North East run will take place on Friday, April 17 before a due of two-show days on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19.
A final local show will take place on Monday, April 20. The final show is the only option where tickets still remain available.
Taking to social media following the London date, Ramsey said: Huge thank you to everyone who came to my show at the Hammersmith Apollo... Dream stand up venue, dream crowd.
“Best stand up tour I’ve ever had and it’s all thanks to the amazing crowds.”
