Bookmakers have reacted to Newcastle United's win over Huddersfield Town '“ by declaring the club all but safe from relegation.

Many bookmakers have stopped taking bets on basement club West Bromwich Albion, managed by Alan Pardew, to be relegated.

Second-bottom Stoke City are 2/7 to go down, while 16th-placed Huddersfield are evens.
