Cakes withdrawn over allergy concerns: The swiss rolls which could seriously damage your health

British & Continental Food Brokers has recalled their ‘Delicontinental Swiss Roll with Strawberry & Cream Flavoured Fillings’ and ‘Delicontinental Swiss Roll with Cocoa Sponge & Cream Flavoured Fillings’ because the products contain whey; however the word “milk” is not mentioned correctly within the ingredients list.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

The products being recalled are:

Delicontinental Swiss Roll with Strawberry & Cream Flavoured Fillings (300g) with

‘Best before’ date up to and including 27 June 2016

Delicontinental Swiss Roll with Cocoa Sponge & Cream Flavoured Fillings (300g) with ‘Best before’ date up to and including 27 June 2016

If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where you bought it for a full refund.
