Coun John Anglin and Alison Maynard, Principal of South Tyneside College Professional and Vocational College, join staff to launch the job hub.

The Recruitment Hub, based at South Tyneside College, provides a vital link between businesses and people keen to boost job prospects.

The initiative will see specialist staff working with companies to access information on opportunities for people to train as apprentices, as well as listing the college’s wider course range and local part-time work vacancies to help people earn while they study.

The hub has been developed after a call by employers to find suitable recruits.
