Dylan Ford, 18, of Felton Avenue, South Shields, was given a 12-month conditional discharge after admitting a charge of using threatening, insulting or abusive words or behaviour to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress, at Temple Park Leisure Centre, John Reid Road, South Shields, on Wednesday, April 6.

He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £15 victim surcharge.

Jordan Martin, 21, of Wouldhave Court, South Shields, was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £40 compensation after admitting stealing a Microsoft Lumia mobile phone valued at £150 in South Tyneside on Friday, February 12.

He must also pay a £15 victim surcharge.

Wayne Mathison, 32, of Gainsborough Avenue, South Shields, was fined £60 after being convicted of being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Kepple Street, South Shields, on Wednesday, May 11.

He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge.

Kyle Thompson, 30, of Dame Flora Robson Avenue, South Shields, was given a six-month conditional discharge after admitting being in possession of a quantity of amphetamine, a Class B drug, in South Tyneside on Thursday, May 12.

Lee Watling, 31, of Gainsborough Avenue, South Shields, was given an absolute discharge after admitting failing to display registration marks on a Ford transit van in South Shields on Friday, July 3.
