South Shields man, 22, awaits fate after admitting to possession of cocaine, MDMA and cannabis
A man from South Shields will have to wait until next month to learn his fate after pleading guilty to drug possession charges.
A South Shields man awaits his fate after he pleaded guilty to three drug possession charges this week.
Abdul Rahman, of Longleat Gardens, appeared at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court on Friday, September 18.
The 22-year-old stood charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, MDMA and cannabis.
Rahman pleaded guilty to all three charges.

The court heard the offences took place on June 26, 2022, in Gateshead when police officers spotted four males travelling in a car.
When police approached the car, Rahman made off, carrying a backpack, the court heard.
Inside were plastic bags filled with drugs, packaged this way for “onward supply”.
The magistrates’ decided that although Rahman pleaded guilty to the three offences, the matter was not suitable to be dealt with in the lower courts.
This means Rahman will have to wait to learn his fate until October 16, when the matter will be heard at Newcastle Crown Court.
