Creative South Tyneside students have their work on display
Youngsters have had their egg-cellent artistic work on display in South Tyneside.
Children from Toner Avenue Primary School exhibited their Easter displays in the sales office of new Hebburn housing development, Westburn Village.
Builders, Miller Homes, worked with pupils at the primary school, which is located close to the development, to run an Easter Egg Decorating Eggs-travaganza.
Pupils were set the task of creating an artistic egg display, showcasing their creativity and Easter spirit.
The competition was judged by Miller Homes, with the winner receiving a prize, while the children’s creations awerre displayed at Westburn Village’s sales cabin throughout the holidays.
Andrew Somerville, associate sales director at Miller Homes, said: “At Miller Homes we are passionate about engaging with the communities surrounding our developments, so we were thrilled to celebrate Easter with pupils at Toner Avenue Primary School following the launch of Westburn Village, our new development in Hebburn.
“The designs are fantastic and looked wonderful in the development’s sales cabin, serving as the perfect welcome for house hunters visiting us over Easter.”
Michael Arthur, headteacher at Toner Avenue Primary School, said: “We are grateful to Miller Homes for inviting us to take part in its Easter competition, and the pupils really enjoyed their fun afternoon creating the egg displays.
“We are so pleased to have our children’s designs on display at Westburn Village and look forward to working with Miller Homes again in the future.”
