They all appeared at Newcastle Crown Court unless otherwise stated.
5. Scott Atkinson
Atkinson, 35, of Hawks Road, Gateshead Quayside, pleaded guilty to common assault, assaulting of an emergency worker, breaching a restraining order and criminal damage at South Tyneside Magistrates Court. He was jailed for a total of 12 weeks and ordered to pay £100 compensation. Photo: NOP
6. Ryan Devine
Devine, 30, of Durham Court, Hebbun, pleaded guilty to four charges of assault by beating of an emergency worker and one of assault by beating. South Tyneside magistrates jailed him for 19 weeks for each of the police assaults, to run concurrently, and for 18 weeks for the fifth assault, to run consecutively. 7. John Robertson
Robertson, 55, of Witton Road, Hebburn, denied a charge of harassment without violence, but was convicted at Newcastle Magistrates Court. He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison, suspended for a year, and ordered to pay £250 compensation. Photo: National World
8. Paul Marrow and Baber Azim
Marrow and Azim were jailed for their roles in a gang running drugs between the North West and North East. Marrow, 62, of Liverpool, admitted conspiracy to supply class A drugs and was sentenced to 11 years behind bars.
