Audi stolen from outside South Shields house after burglar disturbed by householder

A suspected burglar drove off with an Audi after they were disturbed by a householder in the early hours of the morning.

An investigation is under way after the break-in at a house in Marsden Road in South Shields on Sunday, March 21, which led to the theft of an Audi A6.

A force spokesperson said: “Shortly before 3.25am on Sunday we received a report of a burglary at an address on Marsden Road, South Shields.

“It was reported that after being disturbed by the occupant, the offender made off and stole an Audi A6 from outside the property.
