CCTV and dashcam appeal after scout troop’s mini bus stolen in East Boldon

A mini bus belonging to a South Tyneside Scout troop has been stolen, officers confirm as they launch a CCTV appeal.

The group’s white Ford Transit van was stolen while parked on Front Street, East Bolden, behind the Gray Horse pub on Wednesday evening (December 16) at around 9.25pm.

Officers have reviewed CCTV and are now asking anybody who thinks they may have seen the mini bus or who might have been involved to come forward with information.

Those who live in the area are also being asked to check their CCTV and dashcam footage.

A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: “Your information, no matter how insignificant you feel it may be, could provide the crucial missing link to this investigation.”
