CCTV footage shows killer Ross Miller with his victim Brandon Lee just hours before brutal machete attack

The footage, released by Northumbria Police, shows Ross Miller with his victim Brandon Lee at a garage around 10.15pm on the night of the attack.

The pair are seen pulling up at the petrol station, where they intended to purchase alcohol and cigarettes.

CCTV footage shows Miller, the passenger in the vehicle wearing shorts, buying cigarettes from the shopworker.

This was the last time the two friends were seen in public just hours before the murder in May.

In the hours following on from the video footage, the pair returned to Miller’s flat where a row erupted and the vicious attack took place.

Mr Miller, 23, of Victoria Road in South Shields, was found guilty of murdering 24-year-old Mr Lee at Newcastle Crown Court on Tuesday, October 20.
