Police helicopter seen over South Shields in hunt for car driving dangerously
A police helicopter was deployed this morning in pursuit of a car which was reported to be driving dangerously in South Shields.

The car was seen this morning (May 24) flying over the John Reid Road area.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of a car driving dangerously in the Temple Park area of South Shields.
“Officers were immediately deployed to the area but the vehicle was not present. Enquiries are ongoing to locate the car.”
