South Shields and South Tyneside's latest crime hotspots are revealed

The latest crime statistics for South Shields and South Tyneside have been revealed.

They show a fall in the number of incidents reported to Northumbria Police of more than 130 cases. The figures have been released by the Home Office on its www.police.ukwebsite and December’s statistics are available here. All locations are South Shields unless otherwise stated.

Twenty-one cases included seven violence and sexual offences (classed together) and four anti-social behaviour reports.
