South Shields man Scott Wilson arrested and charged with two counts of burglary

South Shields man Scott Wilson has been arrested and is due to appear in court charged with two counts of burglary.

Northumbria Police launched an appeal on Friday (October 7) to track down his whereabouts to speak with him in “connection with a burglary”.

However an updated statement said: “South Shields man Scott Wilson has now been arrested and is no longer wanted."

Wilson has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Newcastle Crown Court on November 7.
