A breath test showed she had 121 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

Brian, who admitted the drink-drive charge, has now been handed an interim driving ban and her case adjourned for reports.

Prosecutor Ansab Shan told magistrates: “Given the high level of reading, it is anticipated that you’ll want a report.”

Amy Lamb, defending, said: “That’s right, your worships, nothing further to add.”
