South Tyneside man to face judge charged with affray as England game was screened in pub in 2018

A South Tyneside man is to be tried at Newcastle Crown Court after pleading not guilty to a charge of affray during England match.

Calvin Fox, 23, of Cuthbert Street, Hebburn, is alleged to have committed the crime in a Newcastle pub while an England football match was being screened on TV.

South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court heard the alleged offence happened on Thursday, June 28, 2018.

Fox was granted unconditional bail to attend the crown court on Friday, August 28.
