Tyne and Wear man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after alleged Cheltenham stabbing
Police are appealing for information in connection with the incident in Cheltenham.
Gloucestershire Constabulary said police were called called by the ambulance service to lower Cheltenham High Street at about 11.50pm on Sunday, May 2, with a report that a man had sustained a suspected stab wound.
Eight men and one boy have been arrested.
These included the 21-year-old from Tyne and Wear.

Hide AdTwo 18-year-old men from Cheltenham were also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
And a 25-year-old man from Cheltenham was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm.
A 17-year-old boy from Cheltenham was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm.
An 18-year-old man from Oxford was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. A 23-year-old man from Cheltenham was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

Hide AdA 20-year-old man from Cheltenham was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a class B drug.
A 22-year-old man from Evesham was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and affray.
All remain in police custody today, May 3.
The police force said It appears that all those involved knew each other.
