As well as Ruffell and Taylor, police are still appealing for help to find James Sayers and Terry March.

March, originally of Walker in Newcastle, is wanted on prison recall and James, 20, of Guide Post in Northumberland, in connection with a burglary

Anyone with information about any of the four men is asked to call 101, quoting the wanted person’s name or use the ‘Tell Us Something’ page of the force website.

Meanwhile, independent charity Crimestoppers have issued a £1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of Terry March.

The 41-year-old is described as a white male, 6ft of heavy build with short brown hair and a one-inch scar under his right eye. As well as Walker, he is known to have links to Wallsend, North Shields and the Battle Hill area of North Tyneside.

Anyone who has information about March’s whereabouts, and wants to be eligible for the reward, must report it via Crimestoppers directly by calling 0800 555 111. You can pass on information to Crimestoppers anonymously.
