Do you remember these South Tyneside shops?

Long before the days of Amazon, eBay and online purchases, we used to do our shopping the old fashioned way '“ popping down town to our favourite stores.

Today we feature a small selection of shops from South Tyneside, including Woolworth’s.

And we start with the once popular store, and a picture taken in Jarrow.
