There are so many puppies in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds Dogs Trust rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 13 of the dogs searching for a forever home this January.

9. Blue (Smooth Haired Dachshund, two-five years)
Handsome chap Blue finds himself back with us after his adoption unfortunately didn't work out. He is a very sweet boy but can become very anxious when he believes he is being left and will help him self to items such as slippers, books etc. He enjoys getting cosy on the sofa and adored his foster mum last year where he was the perfect house guest. Blue will take time to settle and adapt to both a new home and unfamiliar people. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

10. Bonnie (Border Collie Cross, two-five years)
Bonnie is a Collie X German Shepherd, if you are an active household, then do not miss out on your Pawfect match!! A much loved family member of her home, where she has lived with a small child, she can be bouncy, she is very active and intelligent girl. she is very loving and friendly, she knows a few basic commands, sit, paw, stay, come. She loves to play fetch. She enjoys walks, games, and running around in a secure garden. She'd like someone around most of the day while she settles in, then leaving time can be built up | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

11. Kaye (Italian Corso Dog, eight months)
Kaye is learning lots with his handlers and in a home where he'll continue his training he'll really flourish. He's a friendly lad but just needs a little space when he first meets you. Once there is a relationship he's playful and enjoys a good cuddle too! He enjoys his walkies but will need to walk in quieter areas initially while he builds his confidence. With a little time and patience, young Kaye will soon be an asset to his family. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

12. Crouchy (Greyhound, four years)
Crouchy loves his walkies and gets excitable when he sees his lead coming out! As he is an ex-racer, he does need to wear a muzzle when out and about so he's not able to chase after any small furries, but he is comfortable and used to wearing this. Crouchy enjoys playing with his toys and once he is settled, his true personality will come out - so be careful not to leave anything to tasty on the countertops! Crouchy is currently living off site in a foster home, where he is getting all the love and attention he deserves. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
