Darlington, Leeds, and Edinburgh rehoming centres have more than 80 dogs in search of their families and this is just a small selection of those on offer.
Here we have 13 gorgeous pups in need of a home in time for the end of summer - you can find out more at: https://www.dogstrust.org.uk/.
Take a look and see if you can open your heart and home to a furry friend.

5. Finn (Collie)
Finn will thrive with a family who are used to the Collie breed. He’ll need plenty of exercise physical and mental to keep him entertained and content as he is an active, clever lad. There are times when Finn shows appeasement behaviours so will do best with older kids (16yrs+) who can also understand his body language. | Dogs Trust Darlington

6. Tucker (Lurcher)
Tucker is such a playful lad and is looking forward to lots of games and exploring in less dog populated areas. He can react to other dogs when out and about but can be playful with them. His manners just aren’t quite there as he can then become a bit too much for some. | Dogs Trust Darlington

7. Stitch (Labrador/Huskey Cross)
Sweet Stitch is a tw0-year-old Labrador crossed with a husky who is looking for a home that will have people around for him throughout the day to help him settle in and find his paws. Any leaving hours will need to be built up gradually as Stitch is used to having someone there for him. | Dogs Trust Darlington

8. Luna (Border Collie Cross)
Luna is a clever and a loving girl. She has been friendly with the staff here, a little bouncy at times but will be ok to live with secondary school aged kids who don’t mind this. A family who are around most of the day and are up for doing some training will be great. A home with a garden will be ideal to aid house training and provide a safe space for playtimes. | Dogs Trust Darlington
