Dogs Trust Darlington currently have 51 gorgeous dogs and puppies up for adoption.
The North East centre is looking for lovely people to care and provide the adorable creatures with a second chance and loving home.
Here are the nine pups who have just arrived at the wonderful centre.
9. Tyson (Shar Pei)
Tyson would never turn down an adventure with his family but is very happy cuddling up with you on the sofa as well. Being a sensitive soul Tyson can struggle to settle in unfamiliar environments, so will need a patient family who are dedicated to helping him settle into his new home. Once Tyson has built a bond with you, his affectionate side really shines through and he starts to show his wonderful personality. Tyson will be such a lovely addition to a quiet household that really enjoy spending the day with their pooches. (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust
10. Lexi (Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross)
Lexi is a super sweet girl who will make a fantastic friend for someone. She is a real people person and adores the fuss and company her human friends provide, she likes to say hello to every passing person! She’s a quiet, calm lady who enjoys a stroll out in a quieter area where dogs won’t be in her face. We have popped Lexi in a foster home with one of our loving carers to give her a great head start with life in a home environment after spending the majority of her life living outside. Lexi has settled into this new environment with ease; just like she had always been there. She is housetrained - though her new family may need to give Lexi a quick recap on this once she moves into her new home. Lexi adores travelling in the car, enjoying a look out of the window on the journey. She is a really low maintenance girl who just loves to be loved. Any visitors will have the warmest welcome from her! Lexi is having baths with a medicated shampoo once or twice a week and this will likely need continuing in her forever home. If you have a sofa space for this lovely girl please put your application in now! (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust
11. Jasper (English Springer Spaniel Cross)
Jasper is a lovely, lively lad who enjoys keeping busy. He loves to explore out on walks and putting his nose to work with search games. Playtimes are great fun even more so when water is involved! His love of food will help with training which he’d like to continue with his new family. After fun and games Jasper likes to settle down on the sofa with a chew next to you. You can’t help but smile when around this fabulous lad! (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust
12. Shaemus (Labrador)
Shameus will love an active home that will take him out to explore. He will happily travel in the car so is happy to go further afield for his adventures. He will benefit from having plenty of mental stimulation when he is at home also as he does enjoy being kept busy. He has a real love for food and will always be up for learning new things and having fun training sessions with his family. Shameus is going to be such a fun, bubbly character to add to a family home. (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust
